Data Literacy

The trick isn’t “correcting” an improper behavior but instead learning that different contexts come with different expectations
This cloud of metadata that surrounds data is itself data – metadata can be (and usually is) both
Recently, from doing my university work in my bedroom, I’ve been finding it hard to switch off and find a balance between work and relaxing

The common myth that “the only way you can exert control (over algorithms employed by websites on the Internet) is limiting it and controlling how much you interact with it” limits people’s awareness that they need to acquire more literacy skills
My interests are too scattered and my thoughts too many to focus in on one thing
I have no clue what benefit will accrue to someone else who will read my record of occurrences and observations
